1. What is the square footage cost of a new house?

Generally speaking, we do not provide a square foot cost, because every custom-built home is different. The cost varies depending on the lot, house deign, finishing touches and other considerations, but we’ll be happy to provide you a no-obligation free quote.

2. Can changes be made to your standard house plans?

If the house has not yet been started, you can make any changes you desire with our design team. If you are looking at purchasing a spec home that has already been started, you will be limited to changing only the non-load bearing walls and incomplete finishes.

3. Can Barry’s Construction build on a lot that I already own?

Yes, we can build on a lot that you already own, as long as it is located within 50kms of our office in Allenford, Ontario. With that said, it’s important to note that there are additional costs associated with building on a lot that Barry’s Construction doesn’t own, as our team will have to spend extra time inspecting the site and planning the build. We always recommend choosing one of our owned lots for the expediency of the project.

4. Can Barry’s Construction build on a lot that someone else owns?

Yes, if you have a specific lot in mind that is owned by someone else, we can work with you to secure the lot and include it in the price of the house.
